Budget
Everyone needs a budget to keep their spending in line. Below is
a fictitious budget. Use it to answer the following questions.
If these are the recommended percentages, how much money should be spent
on each area if you make $2,000 a month?
How much would be spent for each area if you only made $1,200 a month?
How much money per month is devoted to the house and maintaining it and
its contents?
How much money is spent on auto expenses?
How much money is spent on miscellaneous and entertainment?
If you were forced to cut back on one of the areas, which one would it be? Why?
Assuming that you need $2,400 a month to live on, how much money would
you have to make before taxes (assume taxes are 23 percent)?
