True to Scale 

A popular hobby now is to collect miniature replicas.  Whether it is cars, planes, furniture, figurines, or tractors, there are
people who are anxious to add that certain piece to their collection.

Some people buy a kit to build their model.  Some buy it already assembled.  And then there are adventuresome folks who
have to design and assemble it all themselves.

Consider the following measurements for a 1995 Ford Mustang convertible found on a web page of Car&Driver:

     Wheelbase        101.3 in
     Length/Width    181.5 in/71.8 in
     Height               53.2-53.3 in

If you were going to make a 1:16 scale model of this car, what would be the wheelbase?
The length?   The width?
The height?

If you were going to make a 1:28 scale model of this car, what would be each of the dimensions?
the wheelbase?  The length?
The width?   The height?
 

If you were going to make a child's ride-on toy, what would be an appropriate width?
What scale would that be?   What would be the other dimensions?
Length?   Wheelbase?   Height?
 

If you were to make a lot of these 1/16 models, and placed them on top of or beside each other, how many models would it
take to create the volume of the full-sized car?
